Terms & Conditions for ‘Young Genius Foundation Test’ (Contest)
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between YGF-Young Genius Private Limited and Participants (through Authorized Representative/Guardians, as applicable) and shall apply to the ‘Young Genius Foundation Test’ (Contest), a competition organized by YGF – Young Genius Foundation, a unit of YGF – Young Genius Private Limited, having its registered address at B-104, Latierra Society, Dhanori, Pune, Maharashtra, Pin 411015, and website address www.ygfindia.com, email address [email protected]. By participating in the Contest, all Participants and their Authorized Representative/Guardians agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Eligibility: The Contest is open to all students from 1st Grade to 12th Grade residing within the territories of Maharashtra, Delhi/NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Bihar, , and Chandigarh. The Contest will be conducted Offline in their respective schools for level 1 and level2 will be conducted at their nearby school keeping in mind the conveyance facilities available .The Contest dates shall be communicated to the Participants by YGF. Students must complete their mandatory registrations in the forms available in their school or the website using the same mobile number that was registered on YGF Tests.
- Levels of Tests: The Contest will be conducted in two levels:
- Level 1: School level test for participants , it will be conducted at their respective school and answers have to be marked in the given OMR Sheet.
- Level 2: It will be conducted at the district or state level at a location where the participants can reach and its questions will be of little higher level as compared to basic level questions in Level 1. Use of unfair means may result in disqualification.
- Registration: All entries for enrolling in the Young Genius Foundation Test must be submitted to YGF or their respective school by or before the specified deadline. Participation is voluntary and subject to a non-refundable registration fee of INR 250/-. The registration process can be completed online at www.ygfindia.com or in an offline mode through the school. The Schools will retain their exam conducting charges and will deposit the money to the bank account of YGF Young Genius Private Limited.
- Consent and Information: All entries received from Participants shall be accompanied by the consent of their Guardian/Parent (as applicable) as per the instructions provided in the registration form.
- Responsibility and Liability: YGF shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Participants while participating in the Contest. YGF shall not be liable for any failure/delays of any backend technology that may prevent a Participant from sending their entry or participating in the Contest.
- Contest Results: Results of the Contest shall be declared by YGF before the specified date on the website www.ygfindia.com and communicated via print and digital advertisements and also communicated to their schools. E-certificates and prizes will be awarded to the toppers in an online or Offline mode felicitation ceremony in the specified month.
- Communication: Participants (through their Parent/Guardian) explicitly consent to receiving communication from YGF representatives by email, telephone, WhatsApp, or text message for the purposes of providing alerts and information about the services.
- Disqualification and Discretion: YGF reserves the right to disqualify Participants for misrepresenting their school/class details. YGF may also extend, cancel, change the manner of the Contest, or terminate the Contest at any time at its absolute discretion without giving prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
- Refund Policy : Once Submitted, the money for tests is neither refundable or transferable.
- Taxes and Prizes: The toppers shall be responsible for any taxes and levies applicable to the prize. The prize(s) are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash. YGF shall not be responsible for any defects or deficiencies in the prizes.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest and these Terms shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator to be appointed by YGF Young Genius Private Limited. The venue of arbitration shall be in Maharashtra for all states except Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal, where the venue shall be in Jharkhand.
- Other Conditions: For students of any participating state or city (the latter in the case of Delhi, Mumbai & Chandigarh) to be eligible for district level (or municipal corporation level for Delhi, Mumbai & Chandigarh cities) scholarships, the minimum student participation at the state or city level (the latter in the case of Delhi, Mumbai & Chandigarh) should be 2000 students.
By participating in the Young Genius Foundation Test, Participants and their Authorized Representative/Guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms.
